Community Nurses

The district nursing team, is based at Collison Avenue Health Centre and provides nursing care to those who are unable to leave their homes.

Health Visitors

Our attached health visitors work to promote health and prevent disease especially in pregnant women, children and the elderly.

Treatment Room Nurses

These nurses are available Monday to Friday at Collison Avenue Health Centre by appointment for the treatment of minor conditions, wound dressings, ear syringing and removal of stitches. They also assist the doctors with minor surgery.

The doctors also work closely with other members of the primary health care team, such as the community psychiatric nurse, midwife, social worker, podiatrist and mental health care worker, all of whose services can be made available.
